last weekend i was bored and flipping through the channels for something to watch, when a little movie called 'curly sue' caught my eye. i don't know about you guys, but i LOVED this movie growing up, and hadn't seen it in years. so of course, i started watching, and whaddya know i STILL love this movie. but the 1991 release date got me thinking. it's been 15 years since the movie came out...where is curly sue now? thanks to the internet, i was able to successfully stalk her.

curly sue, birth name alisan porter, is apparently now a singer with several cds out and a successful broadway career. in fact, here is her website. who knew? but the best part is that curly sue, once the queen of our hearts...

talk about growing into your looks. she kind of reminds me of aundrea from making the band 3. anyone? and yes, in case you're wondering, i did get that photo from her myspace profile.

i'm thinking about going out and buying one of alisan porter's albums now. maybe if i'm lucky there will be a secret track on there of her singing the star-spangled banner at the top of her lungs.
