a post for the ladies

let's face it, women. we're getting to that stage in our lives where we are looking to see if the guys we meet have longterm potential. its totally scary but its true. the problem is...how do we tell if the potential is there? well here's a failsafe test. after meeting said man, come home and confide in one of your closest girlfriends about him. when you are done describing the circumstances of your first interaction, silently add in your head "and that's how i met your father." now, picture the faces of your potential children. are they crying? silently rocking back and forth with a glazed look in their eyes? going to bring this moment up in court twenty years down the road? really really ugly? (in that last one you should probably rule this guy out just because of the genes). if any of these are the case, move directly on to the next man. this one isn't worth scarring your children for.
