cliches scare me
is it just me, or is there something in the way that fluorescent ceiling lights take forever to burn out that makes them so innately terrifying? they never just pop and are dead like normal lightbulbs. they only halfway burn out and then that awful neon glow sporadically flickers on and off for days. why am i posting about this? because the one directly outside my door is currently in the process of burning out and everytime i walk up my stairs i feel like i'm walking directly into a cliche horror movie. the only thing that would make this scarier would be if the light was swinging from the ceiling by the cord and there were sparks flying from it into small and unexplained pools of water.
that being said, this is my second lightbulb related posting in one week. i'm so lame.
