Photoblog 2 (subtitle: Is this thing still on?)

WOW. So I haven't posted anything since November 2006? Really? Yikes, I am the worst blogger ever. Do people still come here? Are blogs even popular anymore? I feel like I'm coming out of a time capsule, but I was only in there for like five months, so things haven't changed enough for me to be totally screwed, but I MIGHT have missed something. Oh well, here goes nothing!

I've been spending a bunch of time in hospitals lately (don't worry, everybody is fine), and during these moments I have realized that hospitals can be sort of funny. And here to prove it to you are a bunch of pictures I took secretly while the nurses weren't looking.

For instance, of the standard hospital 'bland diet kit.'



Literally a straw and a napkin. No joke. COMPLETELY unnecessarily packaged and labeled together. I'm 95% sure there are other things in the hospital that time and money could be put towards than carefully wrapping a napkin/straw set. Like curing cancer maybe? Just a thought.

Next up, this amazing sticker that was positioned above every single toilet. Its funny because it means someone, at some point, legitimately flushed a bunch of washcloths down the toilet. And probably more than once for it to warrant a full-time sticker. Oh sick people, youse guys are CRAZY.



This is kinda cool. The ceiling of every level of the parking garage was littered with these 'guest' stickers. Tons of them. What I wonder is, who should get credit for this unique graffiti art project: the first person to stick their nametag up there, or the SECOND? Ponder THAT one, Aristotle.



And last but not least, this artwork was in the hospital lobby and it made me think of an OUTRAGEOUS pun: would these xray pictures of shells reveal their (wait for it) SHELLETONS? Watch out! I'm so effing funny it is literally painful to read.
