i'm sorry, what? what is this story even about? is 'greatest short dude' a title i'm supposed to be aware of? i was so confused by this tag that i just HAD to read on. apparently, in this month's maxim, they published a list of history's 'top 25 short guys.' the list featured people such as Martin Scorsese, Jon Stewart, Prince, Yoda, Kurt Cobain, and Napoleon Bonaparte.

however, the best part of this list was the motive behind it:

The magazine, in its December issue, claims to be helping women “begin a long overdue fight against their genetically determined shallowness when choosing a partner.”

ok, sure. i'll be the first to admit that girls can be picky in wanting a man to be taller than them. but 'shallow'? the men of maxim are calling US shallow for not wanting to date yoda? you're right, that totally makes sense, since maxim is well known to be supportive of all women's body types. NNNOPE.
