its like catching the rose at medieval times!

last thursday night i went to a death cab for cutie concert at hammerstein ballroom with kira and mondo and her friend tory. it was great! they didn't play 'i was a kaleidoscope' or 'brothers on a hotel bed' like i wanted, but the set was great and lead singer ben gibbard even gave an acoustic encore. but the BEST part of the night was when a second drumset was brought out, ben and drummer michael schorr jammed out for a while, and then ben threw his drumsticks into the crowd. aaaand I CAUGHT ONE!! i was so psyched, jumping up and down like a total freak. and just in case you don't believe me, here's the photographic proof!
