sunday in the park
a stranger sent me this amazing photo yesterday from the mp3 experiment i attended last sunday in central park. basically, i don't know this girl. but we had just won the rock paper scissors contest against the dolphins and apparently she was really excited about it. from my mouth, i think i'm either saying 'fancy meeting you here!' OR the 'f---' part of 'what the f--- is going on.' i'm leaning towards the latter. i think this picture sums up the entire event pretty well - amazingly random.

here are a couple other fun ones. for those of you who don't know, the mp3 experiment was put on by improv everywhere (www.improveverywhere.com). everyone involved downloaded an mp3 track from online but didn't listen to it beforehand. then we all gathered in central park on sunday afternoon and pressed play at the same time, when signaled. the next 30 minutes revealed the careful choreography of some 200 people in complete silence, leading us to do all sorts of fun things all over the park. it was artsy and out-there and i totally loved it.
rock paper scissors fight

the zombie walk (one of my favorite parts)

me and the bees

ricky and the dolphins

me cheering

completely bewildered onloookers

beach balls

hanging out afterwards (as you can see, i've artfully circled me and ricky in photoshop. i know, look at me go)
