slam duncan

so last night i went to the duncan sheik concert at irving plaza, the first time i'd seen him live despite listening to him for years. the show was pretty good, but duncan was last in a lineup of 4 or 5 bands so it kinda started dragging. nevertheless, he put on a great set and i really enjoyed myself. he played 'memento' from daylight (one of my all-time favorite cds) and told everyone in the crowd to make out during it, which is awesome because that's exactly what i want to do everytime i hear it. also, it was important that duncan made that announcement, since the couple directly in front of me hadn't really gotten to make out at all yet. wait, no, they made out THE ENTIRE CONCERT. talk about your pet peeves.
